[Death Injection]

CTF_Canyon - Custom Map

Hey all,

I've spent a few days over a map I've made, named CTF_Canyon. I tried to make it as real as possible, but the skybox still needs a little bit of work.

It's an Capture-the-Flag map, complete with sniper hideouts, and... A canyon that kills you if you fall in it!!

There are no secrets to it (as far as I know), but there are many exploits, which I chose to leave in (none like building through walls, but rather getting on top of things you shouldn't be able to. It's not a lethal thing, it'll get you sniped quickly, but still fun )

From the screenshots, it looks very, very small. Also, make sure the bridges over the canyon are fairly large, otherwise you'll have a pyro airblast battle the entire time.


EDIT: btw, how close do you feel like you are to being done with this, as in is it version alpha, beta, or release candidate?

And as for the map, I've added an underground portion to it, hopefully widening the possibilities for capping

Now the screenshots above do not reflect the map perfectly, so don't judge on screenshots. I haven't taken anything out, I've just added to, so expect that and much more!!


Now the current map may not look balanced to you, but it is. If someone disagrees, I'll list why
