Only thing i dislike is that CPU. 125w dual core processor.

It doesnt come with a heatsink either.

I would get a Radeon 4670 instead of crap 220. The 220 is not good for games, and the 4670 will preform alot better.

Also i would get a newer Athlon II instead of the 6000+
The 6000 uses a really old process (90nm) which is bad and makes alot of heat. An Athlon II 240 will be faster, cooler, and OC better for about the same price.

Then you can get an AM3 board wich will be less outdated, and DDR3 ram that will be faster for about the same price.

I own a DVD drive already, so it's fine

Oh ok then its a pretty good build, I would get DDR3 ram though its not that much more and works better.

It's amazing how cheap Athlon's are now.

AMD has nice prices and performance, so I'll be looking for one of them. I'll look into the radeons too

For a budget, definitely ATI and AMD.

Also, look at some DDR3 ram and AM3 motherboards. Should be around the same price.

you should use a old case so you can recycle go green!
the money you save on case can be put towards a better video card
you should also look at my signature because i just build my first rig with the help of guys on this form and it only coast me around $550
