The old Drivers

Anyone using the old driver for nvidia 196.21 they fried some cards and they took the update off the site I downgraded because i play wow and dont want to blow up my card or maybe i should fry it so nvidia will have to replace it but just wondering if the frames changed much

I had the 196.25 update on my GT 220, and it caused so many crashes.


Even got a BSOD once. Was brutal

The 196.75 drivers were the bad ones. 196.21 works perfectly.

yeah i installed the old ones after i posted this and i did crash at all last night played BC2 for 3 hours

So you are back at 196.21 w/ no problems?

Have friend with intermittent crashes (not sure of version), so I may help him rollback...

Personally running the 196.75 drivers on my rig with dual 250s. No issues to date, but I don't push to 'high' on my settings because I want max fps.

yeah but i play wow so i dont want to fry my card but you think that nvidia is replacing peoples cards that installed with the bugged version if they are i want to see if i fry mine and they replace it
