I've been working out a fps configuration for a friend. He likes it alot (which is good because I put alot of hard work into it just so the game won't look so ugly). Anyway, I tried to delete the configuration off of my computer because I don't need it. I join a game, and I realize that the configuration is still working. I uninstalled and reinstalled cs:s and still nothing. What should I do? I really don't like having high gloss characters running around until they get to a certain distance and become almost transparent (lol). By the way, I apologize for the bigger text and image.

The 'usual' restore process is to remove your custom config and add:
-autoconfig
as the launch option, it should reset everything to default :P

  1. Right-click the game
  2. Select Properties
  3. Click the Set launch options
  4. Add -autoconfig as the only launch option
When you start your game again is should 'reset' it self.
Remember to remove -autoconfig afterwards :P

well reinstalling should definitely take it off, unless you put it back on.
but you need an autoexec for your admin to work so keep the file active just take all the commands out. reinstall CSS again (which sets everything back to default, unless you want to go through each individual command to put it back to normal) and you should be set

Thank you K^^! I've been trying to figure this out for ages! OMG I'm so happy! Btw, thanks for trying to help Junk, but I already tried to reinstall and that didn't do a thing.
