transfer of sniping skills

Can anyone transfer some sniping skills to me. I seem to suck really good at it.

I try to lead on a moving target, getting lucky sometimes. What I mainly have trouble with is the distance. I'm still unsure of when to lead above the head, not knowing how far is to far to aim on or above the head.

Any tips?

I've come to be pretty adept at it and snipe pretty often. I can help out. Until that point, I suggest using the M24 (the first available rifle) the scope on it is milled so it helps tremendously with the distances and getting used to them.

cool. That is the gun I'm using now. I have the second one unlocked but the dmg and acc aren't as good and I need all the help I can get. I figured the notches when looking through the sight have something to do with it but I don't know how to read them.

Practice for one
I started out sucking pretty badly at sniping and am much better now (still not anywhere near good or great).

It takes a bit to get used to the physics of the bullets and how they behave over distance.

ADVICE: To help learn and get a good feel for how the bullet flies and lands, don't release the left mouse button when you shoot. Keep it held down and you will stay zoomed in. This will let you see where the bullet hits.

Best way, aim at a stationary object far away, stay zoomed in and see where the bullet actually hits the object. Do this at various distances until you get a feel for the bullet drop.

And, when you just can't hit the other sniper worth a darn...well..that what calling in the Mortar is for

bullet drop is the thing you have to fear

short distance, its no big deal

but if you snipe for marksman headhsots (more then 100 meters away)

youll have to aim slightly above your enemie

and dont go for running people

if they run forwards to you,. its ok

Just practice leading and rang finding.
Also try putting on an acog scope first.

I pop off a shot on a recognizable place and see which mill dot it is and any guys in about that area i can hit if they stay still im not that good @ leading but practice makes perfect

I don't think these words go together.

I'm starting to only snipe, and going mainly for headshots, and you really don't need to aim that far above their head; I usually aim at the tip of the top of their head and usually get a headshot.
