The Tetris-Bot is a robot playing Tetris without human intervention using a webcam, a signal processing card and a Lego kit MindStorm. Its creator is Branislov Kisacanin, who developed the robot with the aim of presenting at the National Robotics Week.

This marvel of artificial intelligence is composed of a TI DSP Card (DM6437) that handles the processing of images taken by the webcam, looking at the screen and deciding what the next move should do the NXT robot through signals LED lights.

Although the robot is still stuck at level 1 of the game, according to its creator, the robot is capable of 3 hits per second, but runs at half that speed, which means he can still be improved and soon exceed the level 1.

Lego Mindstorm approach has enabled many people to the world of robotics, many of which have created great inventions, like the robot that solves Rubik's cubes, which solves Sudoku puzzles or Tetris-bot, which are just a few examples of What began as a game intended for children and has become a versatile platform for robotics enthusiasts.
