Sound Mixer

I am trying to find the sound mixer in my audio settings so i can record what im listening to in audacity but it doesn't show up Ive enabled it to view disabled and inactive devices and its still not there.
For my audio device it just says High Definition Audio Device if i remember correctly its realtek soundcard

I have the same sound card. Mine shows it up though. I think i had to restart first or something though.

I think theres a setting in the card's control panel too...

I don't quite understand what you're asking.
You want to get to the prompt where it shows all the programs running and the respective noise level?

Or are you trying to use a 3rd party program to record?

What I am trying to do is to change my recording device to sound mixer that way in a program like audacity i can record whatevers coming out of my speakers

This wasnt very helpful I already knew how to do it its just the Sound mixer or Wave out mix in this case isnt there at all. Ive enabled the view disabled devices and the like but it is still not there. I think it might be disabled on a hardware level.
