Ok so when I woke up today I went on the comp and it was all good. I put it to sleep and went to my friends house. I come back turn it back on and its all good im browsing the internet and then all of a sudden my screen goes bank and my monitor doesnt detect the comp. so i restart the comp it boots good. and right after i log in the screen goes blank. I restarted about 5 times and same thing keeps happening. Any help?? Thanks

Before you determine it fried, make sure you reseat the card first, just to be sure.
This will also happen if there is dust on the card or if it needs to be reseated, from what I've learned.
Unless its physically burnt, a lot of cards just "glitch" out on you when its on the deathbed, or speak in some KHz your monitor doesn't understand.
Of course, this isn't always the case lol. I'm trying to save you money.

The card itself showed signs of damage.
