monitor problem

recently I had 2 monitors hooked to my pc. One of them went out, so I disconnected it. Now my vent is trapped off screen and I can't drag it back over. Any ideas how to solve this problem?

right-click on your desktop, choose screen resolution (in vista or 7), and see if the "multiple monitors" option is still a click-able pull down menu. If so, choose the "Show on desktop 1 only" option and hit apply. That should move everything to the single monitor.
