It comes with a 24 pin adapter thing, and you have to use a PSU.
Kills mobility, but hey, you want desktop graphics on your laptop, go ahead.
ahh yea.....lol
Laptop CPU would probably bottleneck anyway

Asus is the best budget gaming IMO.
Especially the one with the i7 720QM and the 5870 with 6gb or something plus blu-ray for only $1,500.....absolute beast
Don't those overheat (the 5870's, that is)?
I read that at another forum.
Not sure...the Asus model that has it has pretty good cooling for a laptop. I don't really follow laptops that much...just know the major stuff about them.
Should be good from what I've read....it's a helluva bargain compared to alienware and performs better too depending on the model
Good cooling for a laptop?
I bet it's loud as hell.
sucks air in from the back and it goes through the components out through the keyboard and to ur hands. Supposed to cool off ur hands lol that's the theory from th diagram and stuffNot sure. Riiight.
And how big is the screen, and how long is the battery life? The weight?
The cost. Tsk. If you're going to spend that much, you could get a desktop that is better in every way.
At least for now? How about at least for always.
Who knows....maybe in the future they can come up with some method to get the same performance into a laptop that a desktop has lol just saying who knows what there will be in the future
