help with wireless adapter

EDIT: looked on the acer website and found the drivers. this problem is fixed now.

well i have a linksys WGA54G ver. 2 gaming wireless adapter but my comupter doesn't recognize it. on my old computer it would treat it as wired becausee it uses ethernet cable but on this computer it doesn't recognize any wired connection even though i have it plugged into the ethernet port. any help would be great thanks

Nah, I think you can do much better than that card - it turns out that they arent very good. Infact they benchmark lower than the x1900xt which is a generation behind it. If you want to stick with ATI I would reccomend the x1900 XTX or 1950XTX. Those cards dont support dx10 but they will get you more FPS. If you dont mind nvidia then look at the 8800GT its cheap and very powerfull. Your computer most likely has the potential to be bottlenecked by the 2400.

well im really wanting some more FPS. with the current intergrated x1250 only getting like 20-25 fps but on my old 9550 i was at 30-40. to bad it was AGP and this doesn't support AGP
