PC PROBLEM NEED HELP!!

Ok its not a HUGE major problem but it is VERY anoying..
Something happened to my pc last night so i system restored it back 3 days and now my Mouse pointer shows the pointer with the hour glass beside it and it wont go away its driving me CRAZY any help greatly appreciated....

I FIXED THIS ISSUE IF YOU HAVE THIS PROBLEM ITS MORE THAN LIKELY A PROGRAM THAT IS SET TO RUN AT STARTUP THAT IS CORRUPTED to fix this problem (if your running windows) go to start/run/msconfig and disable all on startup then go back and click 2-4 at a time and restart to see what program it is.

Ummmm. This might be moved to "Tech Help". But Does it show sand going through it? If it does then it might just be a setting problem. To change this back to the original, go to Start - Control Panel - Hardware and Sound - Mouse. Then go to the "Pointer Options" tab. Then go through the list and find the original pointer. I hope this helps you.

no sand just the standard working arrow with sideglass beside it 1st thing i checked was the mouse settings
