Getting a mic.

I've decided to get more serious with gaming ( :thumbup: ) so I'm getting a mic soon, any good [And very affordable, I'm on a tight budget.] suggestions? :mellow:

Newegg... a few of us have the Fatal1ty headset, and it works well. It is a little snug, but has great sound.

I just went to a computer store with buy out prices, and bought a nice logitech headset for cheap. I generally go for logitech headsets as they always last me forever (except when I mess it up) and they are of tremendous quality.

I have a Tritton headset. They may be a little for expensive, but have excellent sound quality and last for a while.

Well if you do get a cheap headset, just be careful with the wiring. Its usually the first to go because that tends to be the part they cut the costs on.

- Stepping on the wire
- Tugging on the wire
- Tying and untying the wire
- Looking at the wire

Just a few things you shouldn't do, to extend the life of your cheap headset. This also affects the more expensive headsets but minus the last part of the list. Good luck =D
