Alright so I just got done drilling two holes in my headset, one in each can. I am listening to Fiction by Avenged Sevenfold right now and I am hearing some toms from the drum set that I did not hear before! The clarity of the bass is sooo much better than before.

I know this has been posted in the past but it was months ago. Also, if you read through this guide, try only one hole in each can, not three. Also, dont bother trying to add cotton like he did as a dampener.
