Joystick

My joystick is an xbox controller and i got it to work with dod but when i tell it to use joystick lookit uses the left stick to look instead of the right one which is how it works on the xbox anyone got an idea on how to switch it to the rightstick to look around?

My completely un educated guess is that "joystick look" may always be the eft stick and that the right stick could be called somehting else? That is a weird question as your using an xbox controller on your computer and MAINLY because you are trying to use a joystick to play a first perosn shooter instead of a mouse. Why would you want to?

Well i was curios if it would be better, my dads mouse sucks and my desk is so small that the keyboard and mouse hit eachother constantly so i have to play with the keyboard halfway off the desk.

sadly moe i have tried to use the 360 controller on dods, it doesnt fully support it. however TOB games do cause portal on the PC with 360 controller is like a better 360 w/o LIVE or a dvd/cd needed
theres a config file in portal that allows you to easily use ur 360 controller, i was thinking of copying to dods to see if that worked but never got to it
