Tips or Strategies you use

Here's my one piece of advice: Learn to quickly and efficiently dispose of armor. Even as a rank 1 you can carry C4, tanks have limited vision and are slow to change direction. Lots of quick points for you and a huge benefit to your team.

The run and gun approach isn't the only way either, booby traps and sabotage also work quite well.

Little off topic, but Meyhem, you were a blast to play with :)

Also, AEK-971 Vintovka will yield 25-5 k/d ratios, even when your team can't push well :D

haha, my apologies in all honesty :)

I'll try and squad up with you once I hit the servers again though, I did feel bad that no one would help you out :\

You can get a decent K/D as a sniper but it may leave you bored. Also you have to be a pretty good shot if you come across anyone while on the move.
My advice for conquest would be to let the more experienced player get ahead of you and play CoD style. Move from cover to cover as you advance and try and keep your team covered from mid range until the objective is mostly clear and teammates have taken up position. Your forward teammates will hodl the focus of the enemy for the most part allowing you to work on your aim at unsuspecting enemy! As a medic drop medpacks everywhere you go(assault drop ammo) and once you get yourself to the objective revive who you can. The LMG's also give you plenty of chances to take your target down and is great for keeping enemy pinned behind there cover! Take your time as your moving up! The game has been out long enough for many to have found some great spots, like BackJack who can sometimes be almost impossible to find! :facewall: If your on Reg then spot everything! Try and make it a habit to spot everything you shoot at because even if you don't get him you've atleasted alerted your team to his presence and odds are someone else will.
A great way to get points, if that is what you are looking for, is to choose Engineer and rocket the crap outta objectives!

Here are some things that really help me. Granted I play BC2 on the 360 but I think a lot of it applies.

Some of my tips have already been said so I'll summarize them quickly.

1) Don't go in a straight line. Don't run from point (or objective) A to B. Flank around, go where you won't be expected.

2) Burst Fire. It's important for accuracy, but at the same time remember when playing Medic that most of the MG's actually stabilize the longer you shoot them. Sustained fire when playing Medic.

3) Don't stay in the same spot for too long. For example just this morning I played Conquest on White Pass, and found the enemy CONSTANTLY hiding on the mountain ledge near Bravo. I started going up there from Alpha every time I respawned and constantly got double/triple kills as they kept going up there.

4) Smoke Grenades. I think they are highly under-appreciated. Great quick cover, or also as a diversion.

5) SPOTTING. I hope this isn't as true in PC play, but on the 360 it feels like NO ONE SPOTS!!! Spotting your enemies highlights their position for everyone on your team. Also if you spot them then kill them, you get a spotting bonus. If someone else gets them you get points for a spot assist. I've very rarely come into a situation where spotting first hasn't helped. Especially if the guy gets me, 99% of the time he dies within 5 seconds of killing me because someone else saw the spot and flanked him.

Hope that helps. It's a very fun game!

Play with your squad! If you're not a good player, then don't put yourself in a position where you will lose respawn tickets for your team. Stick with your Squad and refill ammo, health or give support fire. With this, you can learn attack routes, strategies and help your team achieve victory!

Take advantage of armored vehicles.

Everyone has been talking about small arms, but forget the big stuff. Its important for armored vehicles to stay away from close combat zones and use long range shots. Jungle areas are one exception where you want to keep rolling. Avoid antitank mines by following the Stop, drop and roll. Stop at the water, drop your shells to check for mines, and roll your tank around blasting away tree lines and killing enemies.

There are light armor and heavy armor tanks. Always aim for their rear or sides to do more damage. Keep in mind in a light tank vs heavy tank situation, the light can win if equipped with alternate fire perk which gives you a rocket launcher. One reason I love using Bradleys are due to high rate of fire and faster mobility. Equipped with a rocket launcher and Bradleys can compete with Heavy Armor.

For heavy tanks, I found using the armor perk was more beneficial compared to alternate fire perk which gives secondary machine gun. Enemies will have to fire an additional missile to counter the armor perk.

Whether it is a chopper or tank, use your F1, F2, F3, etc keys to switch positions without leaving your vehicle. Many times the pilot will bail out even when the chopper is fine, or they get sniped. You can take over the seat by pressing F1. If your high enough in the air, you can also get 0.5 to 1 second hang time to quickly switch over to a gunning position before returning to your pilot seat. I always use smoke perk for air vehicles.

Then there are those light vehicles that aren't tanks. In big maps I use them to run people over or place C4 charges and pull a Bruce Willis and jump off as I blow the charges. Or maybe you can pull a Jack Bauer and pilot a UAV mowing down infantry with your blades and rearing blackhawks or apaches causing them to explode. Then again you can be really ninja and drive an ATV armed with C4 into an enemy base, drive it towards their UAV station or enemy, jump off and hop into their most valuable vehicle within 10 seconds before you self-implode the vehicle and yourself.

Its BC2, use the vehicles and make your enemies :cursing: and your teammates :cursing: and you  which is what matters most.

Ask BackJack... he only hides and shoot ppl from far far far away... and that's it... no rushing, no nothing... just sniping people from far away... or using a Joystick in the chopper =/
