Insurgency Engine error....

PLEASE help me....i have NO IDEA what is wrong the game played last night now NOTHING it i click it....it goes it shows the menu background of the marine and insurgent then the screen goes black the client crashes to desktop and says engine error

then after clicking ok i get a "hl2 as stopped responding"

force steam client to update first:

completely close steam and go into your steam directory and delete a file called clientregistry.blob. restart steam and see if it helped. if not:

force your game to update.

go to properties for insurgency, the updates tab, choose do not automatically update this game, then verify integrity of game cache.

If that does not work, reinstall insurgency.

The problem here (or at least the problem that the error describes) is that the version of client.dll uploaded to the server you are trying to connect to does not match the version you have installed on your hard drive.

So either the file is corrupt or outdated on either your end or the server's.

And just for good measure, turn off in-game music. It does bad things to INS.

WELL thanks for trying to help i meant to post here yesterday but i Google it a simple computer restart fixes this lol and i had to restart anyway i and i just tried again in worked so either way PROBLEM RESOLVED
