Game Booster - Get That Extra Bit of Speed

Hey guys! Seems like a lot of people have been complaining about low FPS, lag, etc lately.

Just wanted to pass this program along. I use it on my laptop, since the specs aren't great and it delivers a noticeable improvement in games' performance. Even on my desktop it gives me some improvement.

What it does is shut down wasteful/non-essential processes and perform some maintenance functions.

It's a bit of a leap of faith considering the tasks it performs, but hopefully between my word and the word of cnet, you can trust it!

It has some neat features that are time saving on my custom-build desktop (like automatically finding updates for my hardware) and defragging games.

Edit: Only one thing, at the end there's a checkbox asking you to install a couple tools. Just uncheck it, no need for them!

I tried game booster for a bit, but was unimpressed. I now use Tune-Up Utilities 2011 with a built in turbo mode application, much like game booster. It offers so much more, but you do have to pay for it. Great product! Been using it for five years now...

To be honest, this was my first night running it on my desktop and I was playing way better than usual. Placebo or not, I'm not complaining. =P

I've been using this for at least a year now, and it definitely helps in some way, even though it may be a little.
