What is your opinion about an arena server for eGO?

I wouldn't say that. The fact is, while you are completely right about how eGO cannot cover every game mode, the goal is to cover the oens which get the most people. This thread is to get people's opinions on arena, and if arena would get more people when degrootkeep dies (which it will) than dustbowl, it is better for the clan.

In other words, eGO could cover the least popular gamemodes and not be seen on Tf2, but covering good gamemodes gets the clan attention, and therefore recruits.

Speaking of that, now that trading is up, you can trade after you die in arena, or try recruiting. There are plenty of other things to do while dead, and if people don't want to wait, they can go to 2fort IR.

Actually, they've tried Arena. Multiple times. It's explosive at first, and everyone loves it, but it quickly dies off and no one can keep it populated. It ends up sitting empty 75% and rarely getting full. So why you think it's popular, it's not on the Edgegamers servers. Then again, imo, Arena servers should be configured a bit differently than the other servers to get the proper Arena crowd.

I love Arena! Normally I'd say that this would be a grand idea, but I think eGO had an Arena server once upon a time. It was never populated, and no one ever wanted to fill it. It died off pretty quickly.

Yes but how long ago was this? I'm not saying it will definitely work but it'd be worth a shot.
