Hey guys i just joined Edge CS:S and my computer crashed so i installed the game onto my netbook dell and it says that when i go to play that i got a corrupt images. I was wondering if anyone knew what to do or if i should just wait the week to get back my desktop. :crying:

hmm re install maybe?
you could also ask some tech guys over in that forum

That happens to me also. I think if you just re-download and save the picture again, it will work.

if u transfered the files from ur desk to the lap instead of downloading them again u might get conflicts with directions and folder roots (it happens to me with my spray and stuff).

I'd delete all my CSS content from the dell and download it again to ensure efectiveness..

Good luckkkkkaaah :D

OK THANK YOU everyone i will ask tec department if not ill be back to play CS:S in like a week and a 1/2 once hp gives me my computer back but ill be on vent so dont be a stranger lol

What netbook were you trying to run it on? They aren't exactly gaming PCs

dell inspiron mini

Depending on the model and year of the mini, you would likely get some problems.

On my mini-10v that has a 2GB memory upgrade, I was successfully able to install CS:s and run it with it getting 15fps in the stress test!
I'm sure some of the newest ones might be able to pull 20, but it is very unlikely it will every be able to play well.

This wouldn't explain why it is saying you have corrupt images, although deleting the game files and re-downloading will probably fix that.

(And to all of those out there that are saying why do you have a 10v running windows, crazy? I have a second hard drive for it with mac os X installed :P )

Dells have bad reveiws most of the time, and as for your tech problem it seems just some corrupted stuff so just delete and re install should work
