Ventrilo hates me ~~ PLEASE HELP D:

Ok, so it all started with this. I got a new computer that runs on a windows 7 os. I don't exactly know if this directly affects ventrilo in any way, but something is a matter. When i go to talk, i push my button, currently +, to talk and i hear the noise telling me that its working, or so i think. What really is happening is the sound plays and the little speaker visual stays green past when i stop pressing the button, no one can hear what i am saying and i'm generally pissed off :<. If any one could please help me with this, i really want to get vent working again so i can talk to my buds :3.

Okay, In the setup in vent did you make your output *use direct sound*, Same for input too?

Also do the same for binds and speech to and tell me if it worked, Also make sure you run vent in admin.

Yes, the problem is not in the sound, because there are brief moments where it does work. That is rare for it to work for me though. Its either a direct problem with my computer or something unknown to me.

I did what it said there and did not help. Although my problem was nearly the same as Genetix00, it is not quite the same. My problem is that when i press my button that i set for push to talk, i hear the notice that tells me that my mic turned on. After that no matter how lowd or quiet i talk, no one hears me. After i let go of the button for push to talk, the speaker emblem stays lit and i can not get it to stop.
