Been wondering this myself. It happens to me when i wake my computer up alot of the time. I also have win 7 64bit but I have intgrated nvidia video.

Ouch, it almost looks defective.

Do you know your load temperatures by any chance and if you're overclocking?

i have done a "Auto-Tune" in ccc, but i had this before i did that as well. this computer is new and i have never changed setting before auto tune. not sure about my temperature. its 56 C now. i can check next time i play

Re seat your video card and blow off any dust that may be on it. If possible, try switching to a different slot.

This is a fairly common error on Windows 7 with users who have UAC enabled.

While touching your video card, if it is irregularly hot, like literally burns you, this is an indication of a faulty card or bad tuning. Always remember to touch your metal chassis before touching any computer part. This ensures proper decontamination of ESD/EMD.

If the error persists, re download the proper drivers, uninstall your video driver by Control Panel, restart your computer, choose "No." or "Cancel." when Windows wants to install the drivers for you, and run the .exe installer from the manufacture's website.

If the error persists, please post information from Direct X in this thread. Hit Windows Key + R at the same time and type "dxdiag" and hit enter. Click "Save all information". It will ask you where to save a text file, choose your desktop. Go to the file you just saved, and copy/paste all the information in this thread,

Integrated video cards and Windows 7 don't often agree with each other, sadly. If you were to upgrade to an external video card, this error would resolve.
