Been pondering a new rig for awhile and then remembered this forum.

The equipment looks beautiful. My only question is whether the price is a good one for the components listed. And if anyone has any insight into whether this won't work for some reason please let me know.

In that price range I would suggest adding an SSD and changing the power supply to corsair one.

However, I'd try to wait it out a bit longer to pick up a 1155 machine, or even build one yourself :)

Not bad, but building yourself will save money and gain you invaluable experience. Couple things, do you need a hexacore cpu or 12gb ram? That right there would save you a good $400 dollars. Also, for that price, you definitely need a good ssd in your rig. Also, 21.5" monitor for that rig seems weak.

i wouldnt use ibuypower or any of those sites, not saying they are bad, but the stuff on there is a little overpriced so they can make some scrilla xD
like people said build your own, and ditch the 12 gigs of ram and the 6 core processor, unless your making hd movies 24/7 you WILL NOT need that.

*reads specs quickly*

I agree with the others, build it yourself, there are plenty of people here to help you out. Though you may want to tell us what exactly you're planing on doing with the PC before you make another list.

i agree with everyone else build your own its way cheaper and not to make anyone mad but from what i have seen working on computers for a living ibuypowers stuff dies a lot

Heck yeah, it's more fun to just build your own computer it does take some time to learn where everything goes but as long as you are careful with things while building it you'll be fine and then you get the best feeling ever from it, Knowing you build it with your own two hands and the fact it's up and running it makes you feel better in the end and plus you know how to do it when you build your next one.

oh, and when you build it make sure to buy the hsf you want from the beginning, or you get to put the computer together twice =/

Thank you everyone.

Good point on the building. Its been awhile but I'll tackle it and post the pieces here when I have it all planned. Better to ask for advice and have someone point out something doesn't work together than to buy it and waste money.

If you do need advice with building, I could help you with the build, answering any questions you can think of asking.
