So one of the hinges on my laptop is breaking. The laptop still works but today was the first time that something noticeable happened because of it. I'm gonna send my laptop in and hopefully I can get it repaired quickly but who knows. I'll be home next week so I'll have a desktop with BC2 that I can play on so next week I'll be around but afterward it all depends on how fast Lenovo Customer Service is. Hopefully it won't be took long.

Hopefully I'll back and killing soon but if not see ya on the flip side.

:facewall::facewall: stupid plastic :facewall::facewall:

aww man i wanted to snipe you and have my motion mine look out for your rubber knife :thumbdown:

Oh I'll get you next week when I'm home on my subpar desktop but after that who knows. All depends on Lenovo.

If they wont fix it and you want to pay the shipping both ways I can fix it. Just I cant afford the shipping cost at the moment.

I used a laptop with a broken hinge for years; I either had to sit where I could lean it against something, or hold the screen up with one hand and type/use the touchpad with the other.

That's the computer I was using when I joined eGO, in fact. Of course, I wouldn't be surprised if newer laptops have more complicated electronics in that area, so maybe yours actually doesn't work at all.

Either way, not fun.

Sorry to hear, you could have just used duct tape and your laptop? Hehehe, JK. Best of luck on a speedy repair.

It's not that it is currently unusable but when I open it sometimes the plastic makes a nice snapping/popping noise which is disheartening and just last night I was listening to music when I moved the screen and lost about half of my volume. Since I'm on spring break this next week and will have access to a computer at home I'd rather preempt the problem and fix it now instead of wait for it to truly break and then be up a creek without a paddle with a paper due in 6 hours (cause that would of course be when it would break just to be annoying).

my computer is a POS... but i had to get away from the internet for a little bit. gained a little bit of weight drinking beer and playing BFBC2
