Well it looks as though it will be about 2 more weeks until i can start gaming again. But I can still hit the forums and post from a laptop or my phone

just an update...not that you're concerned.:crying:

Should have new isp on saturday, so i can get back into the game.. Have the lag i get now just makes the game miserable. So instead of trying to play with it, I decided to just be patient and wait out the ride.

it should. Going back to Charter. But going wireless this time so I hope its going to be alright. hard wired my house so every room had internet without hiccups. But with the kids in college and just my wife and I moving to an apartment, I figure going wireless there cant be that bad!

If you're gonna go the route of wireless, be sure to shell out the extra $15-20 bucks and get everything N. It's become so cheap now there's no reason not to. And if applicable, go the way of using a PCI-e(x1) Wireless-N adapter. Through the years i've learned the PCI-e WLAN cards are the best way to avoid strange USB-related lag events caused by normal USB WLAN adapters.

ALSO, grats on your move to the world of Cable. Charter isn't quite the "Comcast" they oughtta be, but it sure beats the alternative!
