I have a 1 watt power supply

That 750watt supply seems to be a steal

In Future, Put this in the Tech Talk, we love to hear these stories!

1000w would be more future proof.

also, I would never buy a psu that was not antec, corsair, or thermaltake. You are asking for fried components IMO when you stray from the trusted brands.

Agreed, Antec is what I would buy, heck it is what I own,
I would only recommend Antec or Thermalake for long term...
But the 750 is a steal!!! good for a backup PC

figured this would be a better place to post since i play with these guys.

and i know its not a major brand like corsair but for 60 bucks, hard to pass up.

im going to be needing a new case as well, anyone have recommendations?

just keep in mind that even if you got a power supply for free, if it ends up frying your parts, it was a poor investment.

as for cases, do you need full tower or mid tower? how much would you be able to spend on a case?

id spent about 100ish on a tower, preferably lower. A midtower would be fine i believe, i just know i want to get a gtx460 or something of the sort and thats a pretty big card. im not sure what kind of room ill end up needing though.
