That's too bad. What kind of Dell was it? I've used a Dell Inspiron, XPS M1530 and M1730 and the only one that lasted was the M1730 (and it wasn't cheap). I'm now using a Mac and so far it's really good, even with games (you just need to use Windows on it for games, though).

The higher end personal and professional series are awesome!

anything less than that has cheap parts...

i have had this dell for 9 years...only upgrade is video card and i still game on it...

I have dell and my comp was out dated in 1 week...... Well time to get IBUYPOWER comp next

The most ironic part of your sudden disappearance was that you had just issued a challenge to a small number of guys to see who would post the most in the upcoming month.

All of you just disappeared without notice before that month was even up.

Why pay some one to build you a computer when your can build your own. You can build a 3x better computer for the same price then buying from a manufacturer. And you Dutch have absolutely no excuse not to build. We live so close I could just come over to your house and build you one! Its not hard and you will love what you get. I've gotten from supposedly the best companies out there and I still have problems. I've built my own and no problems at all. I don't have crap added on software I can't get rid of, and if I want to change something, I change something. No worries about voiding the warranty by opening the case to clean it. And hell, the warranties on my main parts are all about 3 years. Thats better then the warranties you get from a company. My brother paid $300 for a 3 year warranty, and the computer has miserably failed since day 1.

Seriously, no one has any excuse not to build, its easy, its a cheaper alternative, oh yeah, and did I mention a better computer too?!

Im waiting for my Alienware m11x gaming netbook. Since i had to checkout through Dell i can only assume that Alienware got bought out. But ive never heard anything bad about Alienware (besides the price) even Blue said he likes them. I got a good deal, saved $200 off the bat, free shipping, and 15% off of a RAM upgrade. Since the m11x starts off at $600 its not too bad for a netbook that can play pretty much any source game, BC2, and some of the newer games.
