Vent and Us

It seems since we have switched to this new host for vent we have had 100 percent drops for long periods of time. Does any one know why this is happening or things we can do to prevent this in the future?

I heard Ventrilo has been constantly getting attacked by spammers. However, I don't know if this is true or not. It doesn't seem so. It just might be the new host.

They are moving from one location to another I think to eliminate the freezes/crashes we have been seeing lately. Hang in there for a bit.

When a vent as large as ours moves to a new location, gets expanded, and has to re-setup all of our permissions, tweaks, and rulesets, it takes a bit of time to iron out the wrinkles that occur. We apologize for the inconveniences, but this is a good step for edgegamers. Council is working tirelessly on fixing these little issues...just bear with us for the time being

I find it most difficult to hear anything with lots of people talking all at once, at trying to understand some people on vent can be challenging . Turns gaming into even more fun!

I spent so much time sitting in a chopper.. waiting for a gunner to get on. Even though I spam "ON CHOPPER. NEED GUNNER. NAO." in teamchat.

Personally, I think vent is a good tool occasionally.

I enjoy using the tool in game when I am working with my same team and squad. Other times I get really annoyed with yelling over each other at times which results in getting me kill so I moved to another room so I can enjoy the game more and not get so upset.
Lots of time I can't hear my teammate warnings or help with all the heckle going on and talking over each other so much that I am force to more again.

like I mention it is a great tool when use properly for gaming and bad tool when others get enjoyment heckling at others expense.

Over all I enjoy using the tool
