lol i was trolling and i saw this.

1. CPU - do you realize this doesnt come with a heatsink/fan?? good cpu tho

2. Asus sucks, good when they work but when they break it sucks, and they break often. Get a Foxconn C51, best n590 board out

3. RAM?!?! what are you doing? you can get some OCCZ platinums or Corsair XMS for 40 bucks after rebate (2 x 1 gig)

4. If you wanna fry your mobo with that psu go for it. Rosewill is a walmart brand, thermaltake has some ones that are cheaper. Dont worry about your wattage that much, your system wont be that big. 500W will do fine.

7.Graphics card, 320mb gts is ok, for the next year. Better than that other X1950 you had.

8. Hard drive, You said you were gonna just have your OS on one HD and then put programs on the other? You can put files on the other, but all your programs have to be installed on the OS drive partition.

9.SAMSUNG is fine, its a flippin DVD drive, find out cheap and get a graphics card that one be dead within four months. 8800gt.

i look at your list (haven't involve in creating a pc list for anyone for months...)
and i think i will better to charge with what is best fit you
if you are running for single core game, you should, and still get the single core, like AMD X2 4400+
(this is only for you, if you want to stick with single core game for the next 2, 3 years, and still don't care about the extreme performance with D2 with D1 games.)

motherboard, there are 2 kinds of motherboard, but just get a decent one (i am not talking about ATX / mini)

next, your VDC is very good

power pick one range from $40 - 80 will work 100% fine

I am telling you guys this, nothing is guaranteed
my friend had use rosewill for 2 years, he played games and BT for nights and days
even the day the thunder, his pc shut down, his power supply still work and recently he built another one

so don't panic with any brand, but always use a brand that is extremely responsible!!!!!!!

for ram, even G-Skill is very fine too
 
Just had to say that Zombies is wrong. You only have to install the OS on the OS partition or drive. Programs, Files, Games, etc. can go on any drive you want.
 
Lots of htings zomie said was wrong and morse you are so hard to understand - i dont even knwo what have the hting you said were, or half the things you ever say for that matter.

I keep absolutely everything on seperate partitions in my computer. I have a partition for vista, one for xp, one for programs (both vista and xp programs on the same partition), games on it's own partition and then a partition called 'storage' for music and videos.

One of the many reasons is organization. Another reason is because eventually you will have to reinstall windows. The question is - do you want to lose all your games programs and files when you do it? Sure you can back up, but what if its not a planned format?

Sure sometimes you have to reinstall a programs after windows is installed - such as office because it needs it's beloved registry entries, but for some things - like steam, i can over install steam and it doesnt have to re download all my games and local content.

Plus, things that MUST be reinstalled everytime such as drivers, and antivirus I go ahead and let them install into default locations.
 
I'm not a fan of AMD....but it sure is cheaper so go nuts!

I wouldn't suggest the 8800 gts...personally I'd go with an ati 3850 512mb.....it's cheaper or equal to an 8800 gts in cost and is generally a bit more future proof and has more features (hdmi output w/sound, dx10.1, pcie 2.0, 512mb vs 320mb, etc).
