Updates to Team Fortress 2 have been released. The updates will be applied automatically when your Steam client is restarted. The major changes include:

Team Fortress 2
Added the Japan Charity Bundle items

Just a note that these three hats are only available through the Mann Co. store and will be there for a limited time. These cannot be obtained through crafting.

It's great that Valve is doing this, I am so going to donate for those hats.

Or atleast one of them, $99 dollars is alot of money, even if for a donation.

What concerns me is that since I am broke, right when I donate all my money Portal 2 will come out with some pre-order item.

$100 for a hat, that way to much for any tf2 item

This, keep in mind that you are not paying $100 for the hat, you're paying it to Donate it to the Red Cross Effort in Japan. Valve has stated that they are not keeping any of the money, and all of the money you pay (minus taxes) is going to the Red Cross Relief Effort. I personally have donated, but I prefer to go straight to the Red Cross website instead of through a 3rd party. Valve is simply bringing more awareness to this and if some people choose to donate to get a hat when they otherwise wouldn't have donated, then thats great and it only serves to help the people in Japan.

I think that $99 is fine - again, your not paying for the hat, your paying to help the recovery of Japan.

Think about complaining before you do...

There's three hats varying price. One is $7.49 or so.
