Fraps + sony vegas + youtube

I was just wondering about Youtube's upload feature requirements listed below

YOUTUBE REQ:

Videos can be...
High Definition
Up to 2 GB in size.
Up to 15 minutes in length.
A wide variety of formats

I've been frapsing a little bit this past couple of days. I was actually planning on uploading a clip (3mins give or take) from fraps which is 3.98gb in size(.avi). If i start uploading a 3.98gb file when theres a 2gb limit will it cut the video in half or something?

All this is new to me, i have never uploaded a video or used fraps and sony vegas in my life. Also how does one obtain a 15 min video with 2gb or less? :scared: YES YES i'm a nooooooooob.

I started uploading the clip on youtube despite the 2gb limit and it gave me an estimated upload time of 400 mins? Is that normal? :blink:

Last but not least! Has anyone torrented(i don't know if this is even a word. tehe.) Sony Vegas? If so does it work good? It's not online dependent or update dependent is it?

Is there a way to edit out the audio? Fraps recorded my voice while i was playing and talking to someone in my room at the same time. Perhaps editing out the audio and addind music instead? hmmm. :chair:

File compression. Raw footage is always huge in size.

And yes, you can strip audio and replace it.

and if anything on youtube is over 2gb most the time it will just fail upload or they will say file size to big.

I used .wmv format. I can get 15 min videos with only a few mb (0-100mb) of space used.

I'm trying to figure out how to record vids with fraps with ingame audio without picking up my voice and/or other voices on vent. :chair:

I've got the latest verson of fraps right now(3.4.1.) and the only option i can find on fraps is 'record audio'. If i uncheck the 'record audio' fraps will record ingame bc2 footage without ingame audio.

Any ideas? :blushing:

In my version of fraps i have the options

"record Win7 sound" checked

"Record external input" checked, which is my mic.

Vent sound is system sound, you'd have to mute it first.
