Yo yo yo, whaddup and all that jazz. So, I just got back from Sacramento Intel LAN Fest Spring 2011, my 3rd LAN so far, and it was awesome. However, am I here to brag about it? Not entirely. I'm here to give you some background into what I "won".
When I went last year, I participated in the TF2 Random Pub tournament (as opposed to the Pro tournament), where they took all those who signed up, scrambled them up, and made random teams (hence the name). My team won first place last time, even beating the winning pro team in a 6v9. This time however, we got a close 2nd. In the finals with one previous loss against the team we were matched up in the finals with, Granary, tied 2-2, going to 3, and we lost, so it was really close. The winning team got a prize, but everybody who participated got some of these.
Jealous yet?
Needless to say, several jokes involving Pokemon, Yu-Gi-Oh, and holographics were made. Refer to this video to see their usefulness (mild language).
