GeForce 9600 Rumored to launch soon!

If you just bought an 8800, my deepest sympathy goes out to you.

Here's what the stats are supposed to look like for the [link=http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/GeForce_9_Series#GeForce_9600_Series]9600[/link].

"We also know that it will be drastically faster than RV630 and RV635, but we wouldn’t expect anything less than that. Currently it looks like Nvidia will have a massive lead with its 9600GT, as the card is supposed to launch withing the next 10 days, while ATI's chip is scheduled for second half of 2008, probably in the summertime."

*sigh* i Hate these big companys now, what the 8800 was just relesed not so long ago and everyone bought it now there relesing a new one already ... all i can say is i wont be buying it for a good 4 - 5 years. !

My 8800 still beats it.

I have:

600MHZ Core Clock
900MHZ Mem Clock with 320 bit
70.5 gb Bandwidth

The only thing that it beats is my core clock. I am happy with my 8800. Ill buy a new card when one worth actually buying comes out.


The 9800 on the other hand is an increase by 30ish % but still, nothing can even take advantage of that thing yet so yea. Im going to wait until GTA 4 comes out for the PC. If it ever does that is.
