So far: 1996 - 2011: 15 years
1996: Started out Nintendo Entertainment System or a pirated version of it (called "Samurai") that could play illegal cartridges with 50 games :/ (in Asia....yea)
Then got the original Gameboy
Stopped gaming for a year or so (had to concentrate on studies)
1998: Bought Playstation 1 over Nintendo 64 (games looked more appealing, read EGM, Official Playstation/Nintendo magazine to make the final decision)collected OPM demo discs prior to buying the console...LOVED Playstation 1 <3
Most memorable moment was: going to Rogers during lunch break (freshman at highscool ^.^) and picking up a copy of MGS. Getting home at 4PM and playing it non-stop for 8 hours straight WITHOUT a memory card. I was hoping to beat the game but my parents got pissed lol
2001: Bought Playstation 2 <3 loved that as well, many memorable games
2002: Bought nvidia MX440 for $75 from a friend (his computer didn't accept the card at all...guess his powersupply unit was weak), played Battlefield 1942 demo
2007: Bought PSP, wanted one mainly for its emulator capabilities. Right now I use to browse the web and listen to podcasts. Metal Gear Solid Peace Walker is a cool game, playing it at the moment.
2002: got hooked with PC gaming/upgrades...bought many graphics card (9800 pro FTW! ^_^) Doom 3, Half Life 2, Steam oh YEA
March 2010: Got Playstation 3....so far I have beat: Heavy Rain, MGS4, Uncharted 1, Uncharted 2, God of War 3, Battlefield 1943 (100% trophies, ez to get), Killzone 3. Currently playing inFamous. System is good for Sony exclusives I like
I regret spending too much time on PC gaming/upgrades in the last 5 years though. I should have been refining my social skills, working out in the gym and getting work experience. But I have cut back on gaming a lot. Will probably cut more this year since I didn't get the job I wanted...need to study more
