Video/Audio ads on MOTD?

[iOprah]

Does anyone else experience video ads while joining, specifically really loud annoying ones?

[Mr. Boe Jangles]

Yes, that is something we have worked into the MOTD

You can just turn the volume down and it will be quieter...
It is helping fund eGO, so thats a good thing.

It's a new way to contribute and keep our servers running. The window is automatically dismissed once you join a team and the volume is muted. I would suggest simply lowering the volume with the slider when connecting.

Kendle and other eGO council members are always monitoring the situation to make sure it fits with our players and we don't alienate anyone.

I haven't been bothered by them, but please submit a dropbox post if you feel differently.
