DoD for Life!!!

We have talked about this many a time in the last few months Stormy. I can honestly say, I couldn't have put something down that describes my feelings toward this division and the people in it more accurately than what you wrote.

I came to eGO for DoD, while I play other games from time to time it has no effect on where I go within eGO. I stay with DoD:S for the people in the division.

This. When it all comes down to it, the division is only a name. The DoD division is a fantastic group of people that enjoy playing anything and everything together. It's the people that first brought me into eGO, and it's the people that have kept me here.

couldnt have said it better myself (seriously), nice post ST0RMY...your not too bad yourself

*proud yet emotional tears run down face*

Great words Stormy, but dont forget, you are also one of those amazing members! It is an honour to play beside every single one of you and I can honestly say that playing on eGO servers with all of you has been an amazing experience. I have made many friends and am likely to make many more. Cannot wait to see what the future holds and how much fun (mischief) we can get ourselves into!

LOL I didnt realise there was other games that may be better than DOD, I have yet to find one, I started playing with Wolfenstien then Doom, CS and now my beloved DOD, it gives all the thrills without the pain of real war. Yes I know there are no Tanks or jeeps, planes or boats but the thrill is still there and so will I be untill.............

Thanks a lot everybody, all I know is that DoD isn't going anywhere as long as WE dont go anywhere!!!

Hell, in my longwinded speech i still didn't manage to mention the main fact we always discussed Sumac and that is; to stay in the division that has the best people, not the latest game you're interested in.

How come Im not mentioned? I thought we were bros, bro.

I'm sorry broham, you know when I use my serious tone I don't mention you. Are we still cool broski?

First off, great thread, i like ones that actually have meaning :P

there are 2 main reasons for me leaving the DOD division, the first is the game itself or our servers, ive lost almost all my love for dods, i only seem to enjoy it when im roflpwning guys (which with my consistency is about 1/3 of the time) and the rest of the time when im getting shot round corners, getting lag spikes and getting random thompson headshots from across the map i realise this game just isnt worth it.

the 2nd is more to do with the lack of care i sense from the higher ups (you exluded stormy), this seems to have filtered down to me and since i dont hold any position of authority it wasnt a hard decision to leave the dods division (if it wasnt for WoT i would of left eGO). Most of the people i consider friends also play WoT just as much as me now, so really there wasnt an issue with that either.

saying all this, youll still see me around dods every so often for realism or such, at least until an FPS i consider better gets released :P

To each his own Bad Brain, I know that I miss you and so do a lot of other people but your choice to leave DoD was exactly that-- yours. Don't be a stranger and know you're always welcome. :crying:

Agreed with St0rmy...
Always welcome back Brain :)

Admittedly, I gotta say I was a little surprised when I saw your tags had changed but, I guess we all have our reasons, things happen and yeah, that's just how things pan out I suppose...
But, definitely always welcome back in DoDs :)

And in the event you're looking for rofl moments... keep an eye out for racing, myself, tomi and maybe gavin if we're on donner goofing around late at night

I'm sorry to say that other games have caught my attention.. I'll still join once in a blue moon to snipe some poor soul.

Too much bromance goin on in here
