Getting to know some people

I just joined eGO 2 days ago and i just wanted to meet new people within the community that i could play DOD:s with and just kind of chat with when i need too. I usually play on the eGO donner server, (this is all i play on DOD:S) but i dont really know anyone on it. Anyone willing to kind of help me out, that would be greatly appreciated .
