EA Login Problems *READ THIS BEFORE POSTING ABOUT IT*

For those affected by the recent hacking of Bioware's NeverwinterNights forums and consequently the EA authentication servers password reset, please see the following links and follow the posted steps to recover your account.

Step 1: Locate the email sent by Aaryn Flynn GM BioWare Edmonton in your EA account email.

Step 2: Follow the link provided at the end of the first paragraph, it'll be quite a long link and unique to each email. If you get the message "this link has expired," then just enter your email in the box and wait for about an hour and a half.

Step 3: After obtaining your password via the system (should take around an hour or maybe more) follow the steps within it to recover your account.


As unfortunate as this event is, you shouldn't be mad at EA, Bioware, or any individual company involved in the incident, as they've reacted in a way that yields to least amount of damage to all parties involved.

I'll update this with info as I discover it, this is all I have for now though.

Please do not spam this thread with nonsense bashing EA and/or anything else, thank you.

Only if you have a Bethesda account I believe cause I can log in fine. Never had an issue.

If you can get past the authentication server on BC2, this will not affect you at all.

yeah my account was messed up so I just went to the EA site, hit the forget password button, got the email and reset my password and I was good to go.
