I have a technical specification (Intel(R) Core(TM) i5 CPU U 520 @ 1.07GHz)
If I am correct it shouldn't be doing 1.07 GHz, it should be higher. Can anyone corroborate me on this, and if so offer a possible idea as to what the problem could be?
How are you checking your GHz? It will *always* be the default GHz when you check using basic windows items (such as windows key + pause/break). It simply can not detect the overclocked frequencies.
If you use things like your BIOS (for normal OC speed checking) or Core Temp (for current GHz checks and temp checks) it'll show the proper ones.
Lastly, remember you need to put load on your processor for turbo "boost" to kick in. If you're idling it will stay stock speeds or lower.
P.S.: The best way to make your PC do "work" is to run Prime95- have it run on however many cores you want to test.
