AMD Triple-Core to launch in Q1, many different sources have said that these plans have not changed and that Cebit is the best place to watch for the new B3 revision of Phenoms, as well as the Triple-Core launch from AMD's Phenom line.

Chances are that the Triple-Core will be my next processor, depending on how well the B3 revision fixes the phenom line of Quad-Cores.

Sounds good, I heard they should be priced nicely as well, I was thinking of getting a Black Edition when I upgrade my system but I may have to reconsider.

Well, right now not many applications even make full use of the multiple cores, but as time goes on it will become more and more important to have multiple cores in your rig, and a triple-core is going to make everyone happy from the people that have enough to buy a quad-core but aren't sure if it's overkill, to the people that want just a little more performance than a dual-core. Also, Microsoft is talking to AMD about using this processor line to its full potential? That's on AMD's official web site, too (link on first post). Talk about GIGGITY!

Hopefully after CeBIT [Germany, March 4-9] we'll have a little more information about this stuff.
