Dude, at your age is when you have to start to learn to take the risks. you'll develop your own approach and your own way to start conversations. build on a strong trait (not humor - thats too cliche)

You have to be honest and sincere in any and everything you tell her. I may be old fashioned but this random texts at night so she wakes up to it seems a little creepy to me. the random calls seem worse, from time to time to seem spontaneous - yes. but not all the time.

Talk to her, suttlly flirt ( small jokes, take her side in an pointless arguement, etc) and find out about her. what she likes and doesn't like. then, take her out to do something she likes. it helps if you have a beach and a perfect sunset always waiting no matter what time of day it is (you'll figure that one out)

all in all, its about being yourself and trusting your guts. believe in yourself man, your way too young to be worrying about "no" at your age.
