not at all. 500 FPS? when they said not a single system right now can full max it out.

when did they so no system can max it out? its not crysis 1 optimization bad
So far all the screens we have seen of the game seem to be it being launched from the website which really puts me off cause that seems like one those cheap free to play game features that make you login the website and click some bottoms on them to to just launch the game, maybe the website thing or even ea download manager "origin" is going to be a most use/have.

there was an article on one of the PC magazines i read somewhere, but its like its gonna be a console port that anything you throw at will be completely useless.i think its just gonna have some uber sampling or something just like in witcher 2.
The guy is launching it from the chrome browser, but origin will maybe take the place of it down the road.

first of all its not a console port, DICE already stated its being developed on the PC then ported and dumbed down for consoles. a game is a console port only if it was originally developed for the console then ported to the PC like with BC1 only being console and then getting ported to PC with BC2.
BF3 is a PC game with consoles being added to the mix as an afterthought, thats why console BF3 will not have Dx11, 64 player, dedicated servers, be able to run more than 30FPS, no AA, no AF, no multi sampling, uber sampling, awesome graphics in general, console wont run higher than 720P, will be on medium settings at highest, and BF3 will have great optimization since they frostbite 2 is a completely rebuilt engine from 1.5 without the console portyness from BC2

Came across this article with speculations of this being a breach of an NDA.
A short bit:
The screens where taken by a journalist who sadly is part of the CoD vs BF hate fest (this one being a CoD fanboy).
He set the resolution low as well as the graphics then initiated negative comments in the ingame chat (as seen in one of the screens) to try and "prove" that CoD is the superior title.
Dice/EA have contacted the idiot who forgot to remove his ID from a screen with the APC and he is being threatened with a ?175k lawsuit.
All in all, yet another sad day in the never ending battle that is fanboys arguing with each other.

it is a pretty immature thing this reporter guy did tbh. He gets invited to the BF3 alpha testing then puts the game on the lowest quality settings and bashes the game in the chat log. Im glad DICE is going to sue this guy, he shouldnt even have a job as a reporter if he is going to be a biased child about the alpha.

Good call on the alpha leak there.
Any real PC game would instantly be able to tell that these screen shots were taken on horrendously low settings, as games have been looking that good or better for 4 or 5 years now easily. Not to mention no real PC gamer would ever expect to pull off 500 fps in a brand new cutting edge game.
This whole MW3 vs BF3 war is seriously dumb, even though they are both FPSs, they are completely different beasts, with BF being way more tactical and open and MW being more closed down and arcadey.
Anywho, I am looking forward to both, but way more to BF3, for the gameplay and graphics, but also considering that its being developed for PC first. I have nothing against console gamers and games, except that since their popularity has risen I have found it extremely difficult to find a game engine (Im looking at you UE3) that just feels right because they all seem to focus on consoles first and PC's second. The Source engine was probably the last one that has just felt right from the get go. But I am incredibly hopeful for frostbite 2.
