In the past there were members of eGO that shared interest in Rift (thread here). Now this interest has either died out or it is still secretly hiding. Well it is time to reignite the fire and share the interest in bringing eGO to Telara!
Information about Rift:
Rift was released March 2011. With a great release it had very little bugs. With a very unique Role and Class system it took some adjustments to become "good." So until people got skilled with how to play their characters there was something new to deal with when playing the game. The insane zone wide battles is like you are always going to have some type of PvE dungeon fight - these are also called invasions. To add onto the invasions, it is not a rare occurrence to see what is called a tear. From that tear a Rift could appear. This is a video of a tear becoming a rift and the fight of the rift (not my video):

As you can hear them say in the video the rifts appear just about anywhere in the game. Even around other mobs, and you have to kill them because they get consumed by the rift.
The different games classes and soul builds allow you to play the game how YOU want to play. To look at the Souls and dynamic class/role system you can do some more reading here.
To further the ability to play the game how YOU want to play it Trion created a very cool edit UI system.

If you are the least bit interested in Rift join the free trial and just see if you like it. The more people that join the more likely it is for eGO to adopt Rift as a game. Don't just think about me wanting to get Rift in eGO, think about the other eGO members that want to play Rift with their fellow eGO members!

If a member of leadership steps up and decides to take care of the Rift division only then can the guild use the eGO name. Until then a temporary guild with a fancy name will have to work HOWEVER the guild will be an unofficial eGO guild therefore eGO rank status will not work (=(e)=, =(eG)=, =(eGO)=) The guild will have different ranking names that I will come up with; this is until council gives the approval of using the eGO name. (This Thread)
When and if council approves then the leadership member that takes command will have full control over the guild. (hopefully soon) However because I am TheShiv I will give them a suggestion on how to set everything up. :thumbup:
To start the guild in the first place would require 5 dedicated members (not including myself) these 5 members can assist with signing the guild charter.
So here is what I really want you to discuss in this thread: Are you going to join the game if you are what roll most interests you, PvE or PVP, Guardian or Defiant, A name for the temporary guild.
