Anyone have any experience with watercooling? My CPU runs a bit hot so I've been thinking about investing in a setup to help cool her down.

If it is just the CPU getting hot I would go with one of the corsair coolers. H60 or H80. Even the H100 if you have the room in your case. The being said when I upgraded I went with a good aircooler. The corsair A70. It keeps my CPU good and cool. Keep in mind with a large aircooler that if you have tall RAM occupying all 4 slots it could be a problem. But if you have only 2 sticks just move em over to slots 2 and 4 and you should be good. When I upgrade to 16GB later (for VMs) I am just going to get the corsair vengeance low profile which is the same memory at 1600 mhz it just doesn't have the tall head spreaders.

Well I have an i7 920 overclocked to 4GHz (don't worry I don't have a stock heatsink). It's a stable oc and on maximum load it gets up to 80c+ which is way too hot. Of course it won't be at that load very often but I'd still feel better if it was cooler. Space isn't a problem and I've looked into the H50 but I just don't have any experience with that kind of setup and don't wanna get myself into anything I can't handle lol.

I've always been afraid to try watercooling because I'd probably screw it up and burn up my computer. I have a nice Antec 1200 case with lots of fans and it keeps everything cool for me.
Kind of what I thought when I bought my Antec K?HLER H₂O 620, but it was really simple. As long as you have easy access to the backside of your mobo (open up the other side of your tower normally), installs in just a few simple steps.

Koolance is good, as is DangerDen. But the most deciding factor would probably be cost, watercooling is not cheap.

If I would do it I'd probably cool my CPU and GPU (so that I could oc that as well). For starters does anyone have any preferences over the corsair coolers and others like the antec one Koder uses? Also could I modify it later to cool a GPU as well?

Yeah I've been looking into new coolers myself. I have an i7 960 that runs at like 60-70C max, which I am told isnt bad because this particular card "runs a bit hot", but I'm still not comfortable with it.
From forum posts/reviews at the time I bought that Kuhler, I'd say it's performance is a bit less (3 degrees or so) of a corsair H70, but better than a H50. I don't OC my system (mostly because I think it's pointless xD), so I can't give you a reading or anything, but for the price, the 620 I bought is more than satisfactory and have never ran into heating problems, even with triple-screen 1080p, music/full screen game/browsers, etc going at the same time for hours on end.. If you got the extra money, buy the "somewhat" higher quality Corsair, otherwise stick with a Kuhler, or venture elsewhere, just read some reviews

Well I was torn between the H50 and the 620 so i went out and got the 620. Thanks for the info guys

The hottest I could get my cpu after installation was 71c. a 13 degree drop. Needless to say I'm glad I went and got it.

Yup. I had an extra fan so I set it up as a Push/pull system but it didn't come with enough screws for 2 so I had to ghetto rig it lol.

I am using a Corsair H100 (self contained unit) and I am very impressed. I have a Core i7 2600K 3.4GHz overclocked to 4.6GHz with idle temps of 29 degrees Celsius and 100% load temps of 62 degrees Celsius.

Thank you, it took a bit of money from a slush fund that I put to the side. The wife still doesn't know how much the PC cost to build .
