My PC has been crashing during games and I suspect its the cpu overheating (stock heatsink and fan. getting thermal paste today so I can put on my other one) and to make sure I want to see its temps while go game a bit. Whats a good system Monitor program that will show this?

System:
MSI 870-G54 MB
AMD Phenom x4 3.2Ghz
G.Skill memory 4Gb x2
500Watt corsair PSU
Nvidia 9500 GT 1Gb

EDIT:
I keep getting a "Hypertransport Sync Flood Error" now

Time to mess with the BIOS then >_>

HyperTransport Technology helps reduce the number of buses in a system, which can reduce system bottlenecks and enable today's faster microprocessors to use SYSTEM MEMORY more efficiently in high-end multiprocessor systems.

You usually get that error when there isn't the correct voltage supply to your memory while over clocking or it being the famous "ASUS message", which usually results in a BIOS upgrade.

Yea. was about to reset and check the bios for the CPU-NB and HT speeds, adjust those if they seem off then bump up voltage a bit.

Also, I dont like overclocking, but this mobo does it automatically apparently o.O

What do you mean "automatically"? There's no "Off" or "Manual" switch in BIOS?
What kind of mother board do you have?

Read the manual wrong xD
Its automatic if the stitch on the Mb is turned on, then it automatically oc's by 15% on startup. Dont really understand it myself o.O

Motherboard I have is:

EDIT:
Blarg.... The Voltage and NB-cpu and Ht frequencies options are greyed out in the bios >_>

EDIT 2:
Ok, managed to get to them:

CPU-Voltage -- 1.390
CPU_NB-Voltage -- 1.265
DRAM-voltage -- 1.500
NB-Voltage -- 1.103
SB-Voltage -- 1.196
HT_Link-Voltage -- 1.240

HT-Link frequency -- 2000
NB-CPU frequency -- 2000

Memory Timing 9-9-9-24

EDIT numero 3:
Read from a few sites that power saving utilities (such as coolnquiet) and also cause this when enabled. Gonna turn it off and see what happens.

EDIT 4:
Reduced HT Link frequency to 1800 (x9) down from 2000 (x10)
Increased DRAM Voltage by 0.15 (1.650 up from 1.5)
Disabled coolnquiet

Damn. Thought I was in the clear, but got it again during a game of LoL >_>

Follow MSI's directions first.
If they can not get it figured out, let us know.

When you take advice from 2 different people about 1 problem, the resolutions we give may conflict with each other or your PC.

So far, Everything checks out. They're saying it might be the video drivers or the card its self oO

EDIT:
Still getting the problem. Im thinking it might be easier to just MRA it for another board =\

Well, looks like a new video card is in order for me. Noticed mine was missing 2 brass connector pins on the card itself. They probably broke off in the old mainboard i had. Pulled my brothers video card, plugged it in and everything ran fine. Played some LoL and hopped into DoD for an hour and no error. =)
Ill test with a more GPU intensive game tomorrow.

Also ran a torture test on the CPU and memory for 2-3 hours and they held out fine. No crashes. Got a little toasty, but fine none the less
