Operation Metro CQ servers are up

Do NOT visit these servers!! Scroll down or see CrushedDiamond's thread if you need to know why. I started this thread before finding out that DICE did not authorize these servers.

There's around 15 of them in the browser at the moment. Unfortunately I'm on my Chromebook at the moment so I can play. Hopefully they are still up tonight.

*edit* some of them have 80 slots. 80!

I ran into a 250 slot one earlier... :drool:

It's a shame I never got to get in. I made it into a 180 slot conquest server. I'm currently playing Squad Deathmatch on Conquest. :laugh:

Just to let you know, they are hacked servers that DICE claim they are working on shutting down.

While I believe it is just a scare tactic, DICE claims that these server crackers may be capable of getting access to your EA Account and get you banned, so I ain't gonna risk it because I have BF3 Pre-Ordered on it.

I like Op. Metro on Conquest a lot better than on Rush because you end up getting into high intensity stalemate battles at a point. Only thing is, there is NO possible flanking so it's kind of a linear battle, but the crazy battles make up for it!

How am I to tell if it's a hacked server? I do agree with you that it could be DICE trying to avert people from playing on certain servers.

Taken straight from battlelog..

We are aware that a number of servers have appeared and are running game modes and player counts that have not currently been seen. Please try to remain on official servers.

Official servers run the following configuration

Max Players: 32
Map: Operation Metro
Mode: RUSH

Please avoid temptation and remain on these official servers while we work to have these servers dealt with.
Playing on those servers can cause your account to become compromised, stats to be altered or other issues to arise which may lead to having your account banned by EA.

Ah, thanks. My stats are intact. I think I'll just avoid anything other than Rush unless I hear about something else.
