ps3 controller

i thought i read somewhere in one of these forums that someone used a ps3 controller for the pc. Since i cant afford a joystick for a while i was wondering how i can figure out how to set up my ps3 controller to use in bc2 and maybe bf3 if i dont get one by the time it comes out. So far i have downloaded and installed motionjoy and it made my computer recognize my ps3 controller. but as far as using it im having issues. Any help plz!

Did you load the driver via driver manager?

ok so i went into the ds3 tool and went to driver manager and loaded it, what do i do now?

Go back to main -> Game controller panel -> properties -> test to see if it they are working. If the software recognizes movement/key presses from the controller, then it is working.

you can also create profiles and bind keys to buttons if the game doesn't recognize the buttons. Alot of games seem to work best with the xbox360 emulator mode too, so try that if all else fails.

Use Motionjoy http://www.motioninjoy.com/ as your driver
Once you have it set up, select Xbox 360 Controller Emulation (this worked best in the beta)
Set it up in your key bindings and enjoy.
