Ok I've had problems at getting the range in line with my trajectory. Does the bullet hit the ground right when the tracer light disappears? or does it keep on going a little bit

Im pretty sure it goes for a bit, i know in bc2 i used to shoot people 800m in the head and the bullet tracer thingy disapeared right away. I know in bf3 they are all about GRAPHICS and epic gun battles. Like in metro if you have high settings on you see awesome rpgs and gun flares. looks pretty movie like. So im pretty sure it keeps going.

dat low draw distance....but yeah, the round keeps going long after you can't see the tracer. Its a luck of the draw.

ok thanks. this sure explains why i wasnt killing **** at the distance i was shooting (~900m)

No, it doesn't disappear.

It disappears for me after about 800m... i went into an empty server with a friend to see if it kept going. But we couldnt tell. Longest I was able to manage was approximately 750m.

Depends on the rifle. They put ranges on the rifles. I believe when the round disappears its effectiveness drops so it wont register a hit.

That video snipe was great...but seriously no first shot to measure bullet drop? He must camp up there a lot and then he doesn't shoot any other guys that he clearly saw on the first scope. Seems lucky (sorry for being a stickler)
