BF3 Crashes

I have done some searching, but just have not really been able to find the info Im looking for, so if anyone here can help or point me in the right direction, that would be greatly appreciated.

Basically, my game crashes. Not all the time, but enough to be a pain. Most of the crashes happen when im first loading up the game. Battlelog sits and thinks its just loading and loading, but the game has already crashed, it just doesnt give me a message because its minimized. That happens fairly often, probably close to half the times I try loading the game.

Also, I get random crashes, the screen goes blank, and i get kicked out of the game, but the actual program itself is still open and running and according to task manager, still running.

My drivers are all up to date, so Im just not sure what to do, its quite frustrating.

Mine would crash every 5 minutes in multiplayer... I found a solution though and it has worked 100%! Go here and follow this guys instructions, it should help you.

Didnt solve my crashing issues. The crash that bothers me the most is during loading, before battlelog even tells me the game is ready. It crashes, and battlelog has no idea and just sits there waiting for the game to be ready even though it never will since it has already crashed.

Didn't help me either. In fact, it made my crashes do that thing where the last sound is repeated over and over again...it creeps me out....cuz it makes me think Slendy's behind me :crying:

I can't join a server on first try anymore.

I have to Alt-Ctrl-Delete and close the first attempt to open BF3, then rejoin, then the 2nd try, it works.

This is not an occasional situation anymore, it happens every single time.

The Battlefield screen loads up, but it shows blank, then my cursor appears and nothing happens.

This used to happen before the update on the 22nd, now it works fine.

Drivers are all up to date.

Graphics were set to high automatically.

The only way I know it has crashed is by mousing over the battlefield icon on my task bar. It crashes almost every time on the first attempt to load the game. I have to then manually click on the game icon in the taskbar to get the crash message because battlelog just sits there and still says loading level.

Plus I am still getting crashes during the game as well. The screen goes black, and boots me out of the game. The program itself doesnt terminate and I have to then close it through task manager.

Try turning off motion blur, turn down terrain quality to low, and turn off the first anti aliasing. You may have to turn down everything to medium as well. After the patch, my game would crash thirty seconds after connecting to any server and this pretty much fixed it.

I tried that and it worked......kind of. Still crash 1-3 times in a 2 hour session.

turned off AA and Motion blur worked for me, everything still on high with HBAO and getting 50-60 frames.

I hope your not running it on ULTRA, unless you got the system for it. I myself have it 1/2 ULTRA and 1/2 HIGH depends on the settings.

I was trying to figure why I was crashing alot but then I remembered OPPS I forgot to lowe my settings from 100% ULTRA from Singleplayer to my Multiplayer settings.

My advice just check your video settings and look up what settings your graphics card can use in BF3.
