According to my findings off the internet BF3blog.com posted http://bf3blog.com/2011/11/back-to-karkand-release-date-set-for-december-14/ The article explains that they got the information from Sony?s Asia PlayStation Store http://asia.playstation.com/sg/en/psn/addonDetail/251070 . "Battlefield 3 Back To Karkand with a release date on December 7, 2011. Since PlayStation 3 owners will get Back to Karkand (and all other DLC) one week earlier, that means that Back To Karkand will hit the PC and Xbox 360 platforms on December 14."

When I looked at the Asia PlayStation Store nothing of BF3 BtoK came up. The information is accurate though beacause other websites have put they have seen the information but have editied that the bcause the information was removed ( I bet to keep it hush hush until EA/Dice annouces it).

PS3 players will get Back to Karkand on Tueday December 6, 2011. Which confirms that Back to Karkand will arrive for PC players on Tuesday December 13, 2011. By previous information from DICE saying PS3 players will get Back to Karkand 1 week earlier than all other platforms
 
It makes sense, in the middle of the Alienware Tournament they are switching to Back to Karkland maps.
